POSH training

POSH awareness training for employees

The organisation-wide track. Every employee should be able to recognise unacceptable conduct, know the reporting routes in your own policy, and understand that raising a concern is protected. This session is designed to be delivered at scale, in the language each cohort actually works in.

What the session covers

A 60 to 120 minute session built around recognition and reporting rather than statutory recitation. The content is anchored in realistic workplace scenarios from your sector, because abstract definitions do not change behaviour.

  • What counts as sexual harassment at work, with sector-relevant examples
  • Where the workplace extends to: client sites, travel, offsites, work chat
  • How to raise a concern under your organisation's policy
  • Protection against retaliation and what confidentiality does and does not mean
  • What a bystander or witness should do
  • What happens after a complaint is filed, in outline

Running it across a distributed workforce

Coverage, not session count, is the metric that matters. Large employers typically run a mix: online cohorts for corporate and IT staff, in-person sessions on shop floors and at branches, and a rolling new-joiner session each quarter.

Nominations, attendance and completion are tracked per employee so HR can see who is still outstanding rather than reconciling registers by hand.

  • Cohorts organised by location, shift and language
  • Rolling coverage for new joiners between annual cycles
  • Per-employee completion tracking with gap reporting
  • Reminders for the population that has not yet attended

Language and accessibility

Awareness content only works if participants follow it comfortably. Sessions are available in English, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil and other languages depending on trainer availability, and materials can be provided bilingually where a cohort is mixed.

Training is not legal advice

TrainingForge and FOGS Consultants provide workplace training and awareness programmes. Our sessions explain obligations and good practice under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 and the associated Rules, but they are not legal advice and do not replace advice from a qualified lawyer on your organisation's specific facts.

Frequently asked questions

How long is a POSH awareness session for employees?

Typically 60 to 120 minutes depending on cohort size and how much scenario discussion you want. Shop-floor sessions are usually kept to 60 minutes and repeated per shift.

How many employees can attend one session?

Online awareness sessions commonly run 50 to 200 participants. In-person sessions work better at 25 to 60 so that discussion is possible.

Can awareness training be delivered in Malayalam or Hindi?

Yes. Delivery language is a filter when we match trainers, and bilingual materials can be provided where a cohort is mixed.

Do employees receive a certificate?

Yes. Attendance and acknowledgement are recorded and a verifiable completion certificate is issued, exportable by HR.
